HP says 'The Machine' will supercharge Android phones to 100TB | PCWorld
Out of the box this is handset that doesnt scare anyone whos worked with Android, everything is where youwould expect it to be, apps are easy to find, optionsare there to explore, its a phone you will be comfortable with. But its also a phone where the flexibility that has become a mark of CyanogenMod is also on display. Almost everything in the UI is user-configurable,itcarries theme support to change every element of the UI in one click, and when you start to explore the settingsdialogs, youll realise almost every item can be tweaked. On one hand this can feel rather overpowering, but on the other it means the OnePlus One can feel much more like your device than the singlevision offered by a manufacturer. A case in point isthecore Android UI keys of menu/ home / back. These are threecapacativebuttons just under thebottom of the screen. When the OnePlus One is active, these are dimly lit and Im happy to use them.

OnePlus One Review: The CyanogenMod Powered Smartphone That Outclasses The Android Competition - Forbes
Thats a new type of memory, still at the research stage, that uses ions instead of electrons to represent the 1s and 0s of computer code. HPs Martin Fink shows a mock-up of a memristor module at an HP conference in Las Vegas. Today, all our devicesfrom phone to supercomputerconstantly shuttle information between three layers of memory: whats needed this instant (SRAM), what will be needed very soon (DRAM) and what may be needed later (storage), HP said on its website. Memristors will be fast, dense and cheap enough to play both the soon and later roles at once, and thereby speed up throughput by eliminating most of the to and fro, it said.

If you are interested in the beta version of the mail client, then there are some other requirements your device needs to meet. OWA will only work if your mailbox is running on Office 365 for business (doesnt include Office 365 personal, Office 365 Home, or Outlook.com) and your device size is considered small or normal by Android OS (translation: no phablet or tablet support just yet). Microsoft says the pre-release is to gather feedback, fix bugs, and generally make sure the app is ready for general release. Only a few devices can use it now with more being added regularly, according to Microsoft. In fact, you can vote to have your device added on OWA for devices . Despite offering everything you can already do on OWA for iPhone, the Android version of the app does have one additional feature in the form of contact syncing. Consequently, you can update contacts directly from the devices address book and the app will make sure the changes apply to your Office 365 mailbox as well.
